Wonder..

Strength

I wonder what represents strength in our lives. Never crying, not asking for anyone help or never shock at anything?

I find that the strength is what makes us go on. However it is represented, it’s the part of energy that makes us get up again and go on with our lives.

We don’t have hold our emotions to be strong. I believe one’s strength is represented best when he or she faces his or her emotions. Crying and screaming at times, we may call those act as losing yourself as if those are signs of breaking down.

Embracing certain course of emotions is the strength. Being able to say, we are hurting at times is the strength in my opinions.

While I was working at a bank in New York City, I had few customers who would make remarks about my face. They are all adults. Inquiring what had happened to my face. I kept the professional composure. However, I did not bend over backwards to say that the customers are okay to ask or comment on my face when it has nothing to do with their transaction. In fact I was very upset. My supervisor said, “I thought you are used to people saying things.” I replied to her that it doesn’t change the fact that the customers were rude whether it’s their cultural issues or stupidities, it is simply rude. If I were to ask a customer what happened to his or her buck-teeth, that is considered rude. It’s simply not okay.

It’s my strength to express that something isn’t okay and it’s rather rude.

My strength is the expression.

What is your strength?
